Description

See Tsaghkadzor, known as Valley of Flowers, on this 7-hour tour. Ride on the cablecar (optional) to admire whole the beauty of the place. Go to the Kecharis monastery complex in Tsaghkadzor before going to Lake Sevan, pearl of this mountainous country. Stop at the Sevanavank Monastery complex on Sevan Peninsula.

The starting point and time of the tour can be adapted to your preferences.  

The first stop is Tsaghkadzor city in the Valley of Flowers, one of Armenia's most popular winter resorts, located on the eastern slope of Teghenis Mountain and surrounded by virginal woods and alpine meadows.

Continue to the nearby Kecharis monastery, which dates back to the 11th century and includes four churches and the half-destroyed mausoleum of Grigorius Pahlavuni, who financed building the monastery.

After stopping for lunch (own expense) at a lake-shore restaurant, continue to the Sevan Lake, a freshwater lakes located at around 1900m above sea level. The final stop is Sevanavank monastery, which was built on the Sevan peninsula in 874 by the order of King Ashot Bagratuni's daughter, Princess Mariam.
